When creating products, members of the Foundation “Verdriet door je Hoofd” are expected to evaluate data and insights without bias, within which all relevant aspects should be discussed and no angles excluded.
Members of the Foundation represent the various relevant disciplines and areas of interest within the professional field of psychosocial oncology. Individual members should be aware of the possible conflict of interest with contacts they may have. The approach of the Foundation is that created products are a group responsibility. If one of the members has a potential conflict of interest with the development of a product, she/he will leave the meeting during the discussion stage.
Because of the above mentioned reasons, the Foundation considers it important that the public are completely informed about the possible conflict of interests and that the public can rely on the products being created without undesirable pressure or improper influence by individual persons.
Board activities are without remuneration.
